Welcome to Advanced Writing and Presentation (01)!

Hello Class,

I hope that everyone is able to start up a new account easily.

Once again, the goal of this project is to have some weekly writing practice. If you want your writing ability (in English or Korean) to improve, it is important to write regularly.

Keep in mind that you will have three different audiences. The first audience is YOU: this is an online journal / diary writing project. Because this is an online journal / diary, though, other people will be able to read your posts. Therefore, audience #2 is your classmates and (maybe) strangers from cyberspace. The third audience is me, your teacher. You might be wondering how I am going to grade your blog writing. Well, I'll be concerned most of all with regularity (be sure to write at least once a week) and effort (do your best to express yourself in written English).

I should also mention that I am thinking of lowering the weekly word count -- 500 words might be too much.

All the best for the new semester,

Prof. Crawford

P.S. I'll be posting a list of all the students' blog journal addresses in about a week.
